A feedback kiosk is a tablet at the exit that shows four faces. A customer taps one on the way out, sees a thank you, and the screen resets. Stokk records the tap against the store and the time, so you can see how each store is doing and when unhappy taps cluster.
Nothing else is asked, and nothing identifies the customer. Each tap is one anonymous score.
Each kiosk card has a Display section. You can replace the heading above the faces with your own wording, switch the heading off entirely for a bare four-face screen, and hide the words under the faces. Changes apply the next time the tablet loads the page.
The kiosk page has a small full-screen button in the top right corner. Tap it once on the tablet to hide the browser bars. It disappears while the page is full screen. On an iPad, adding the page to the Home Screen and opening it from there also gives a full-screen page, and Guided Access stops customers leaving it.
Taps are saved on the tablet first and sent when the connection is back, so a flaky network at the door does not lose responses. A small amber dot at the bottom of the kiosk screen shows how many taps are waiting to send. The report uses the time the customer tapped, not the time the tap arrived.
Reports, Customer Feedback shows the last 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, for all locations or one.
Only customers who bother to tap are counted, and a child at the door can add a run of taps. Treat the numbers as a trend to watch, not a precise score. A store needs a few weeks of taps before the hourly view means much.
